ROME - The Arbitration Commission for a part of the interentity boundary
line in the area of Brcko finished the hearing of Muslim witnesses, and
tomorrow will start hearing Serb witnesses. Analysts yet dare not to
prognosticate the outcome of the arbitration. The president of the
Arbitration Commission, Roberts Own, asked Federation's US lawyers for
their proposal if their demand for Brcko is accepted "what would they do
with 28,000 refugees in Brcko who were forced to leave Sarajevo?"
BANJALUKA - The British defence secretary, Michael Portillo stated in
Banjaluka at a press conference that "OSCE main mission is to keep peace
and provide security in the Dayton B-H", adding that British SFOR troops
are smaller in number for the reason of the responsibilities are attempted
to be transferred to local civil authorities.
SARAJEVO - A forum for economic policy will be held tomorrow at 10:00 am in
Sarajevo's "Holiday Inn" Hotel, this was announced from the Office of the
High Representative. The main topic of the forum will be the economic
reforms for the revitalisation of Dayton B-H economy in coming years.
SARAJEVO - The president of the Serbian National Party (SNS) in Croatia,
Milan Djukic, thinks that the Croatian authorities are doing all they can
to force out the remaining Serbs from Eastern Slavonija, Baranja and
Western Srem. Djukic stated this at a press conference in Zagreb, adding
that it is a "classic trap, known scenario for the Serbs in Croatia like
'we will give you all your rights on a paper, but will take care that you
leave your houses'".
BEOGRAD - The Serbian Radical Party (SRS) warned that "Croat police,
supported by the so-called international forces, is setting up border
crossing between the eastern part of the Republic of the Srpska Krajina and
FR Yugoslavia". "The alarming is that the bringing of life necessities for
the Serbs in Eastern Slavonija, Baranja and Western Srem is not allowed",
says the SRS communique.
BEOGRAD - The Serbian government confirmed it would revise the disputable
election results.
