SARAJEVO - The vice-president of the RS National Assembly, Nikola Poplasen, stated that the deputies of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) would not boycott the Assembly's work, if the majority of deputies decide that Muslim deputies can participate in its work despite their avoiding to take the oath.

DOBOJ - SFOR will not allow the Muslims to provoke and disturb Serb residents in Doboj, announced SFOR Nordic-Polish Brigade spokesman, captain Frederick Amland. When asked of Muslim protests announced for December 29, in the village of Klokotnica - in connection with their demands for return to Doboj - captain Amland stated that "SFOR will not allow the Muslims to cross the inter-entity boundary line without satisfying procedures".

DOBOJ - A group of journalists from Doboj sent a sharp protest to SFOR, indicating the misuses by Muslim journalists of meetings with international representatives, when they photographed Serb journalists, libelling them as war criminals. While mentioning that all contacts between Serb and Muslim journalists were realised at IFOR ceremonies, the group reminds SFOR that on such an occasion, the Muslims from Tesanj beat-up two Serb journalists.

BRCKO - The Brcko City Assmelby warned the high representative, Carl Bildt, that too high price was paid for freedom and state that an international diplomat take them as a joke. The Assemlby representatives condemned an unannounced visit to Brcko, on St. Nicholas Day, of Carl Bildt, who did not find it appropriate to visit the host.

BEOGRAD - The president of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS), Vojislav Seselj, assessed that the Serbian's President Sobodan Milosevic showed, by his speech, that he "did not understand the causes and consequences of developments in Serbia". "Milosevic does not understand what is going on in Serbia, and both Government and Coalition 'Together' are equally responsible for the crisis", stated Seselj.

BEOGRAD - Serbia's president Slobodan Milosevic refused a demand for an urgent meeting with representative of the US Embassy in Belgrade, Richard Miles, reports Radio-B-92.

MOSCOW - Moscow's mayor, Jury Lushkov, stated that unfavourable and unjust provisions of the Dayton agreement for the Serbian nation were generated from, among other things, Russia's failure to support Serb demands more firmly and consistently. Lushkov stated this yesterday in Moscow after his meeting with the RS foreign minister Aleksa Buha, defence minister Milan Ninkovic, and the chief of the RS Bureau in Moscow, Todor Dutina.
