NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

SARAJEVO - The ninth session of the Dayton B-H Presidency, due to be held in the National Museum building in Sarajevo was delayed because of demonstrations organised the Muslim Association of Former POWs. In that regard the president in the Dayton B-H President Momcilo Krajisnik stated that a final decision should have been brought at the session on the structure of Council of Ministers. "There was a small difference in positions regarding the structure of the Council which could be prevailed, and now it turned to be a problem for the other party obviously undermined the session in a try to prevent the setting up of the Council of Ministers", stated Krajisnik, and added that the delay was aimed at prolongation of B-H former Government mandate, which is in a complete opposition to all obligations assumed in Dayton.

SARAJEVO - The second, regular session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (RS) will be held on Jahorina on November 27. Deputies are expected to elect new prime minister and new Government members, as well as presidents and members of the Assmelby working bodies.

SARAJEVO - The Serbian Democratic Party for Serbian Lands (SDS SZ) Main Board fully supports decisions of the RS president Biljana Plavsic, pertaining to the reorganisation of the RS Army (VRS), which decisions are based upon the RS Constitution.

DOBOJ - Doboj authorities suspended all contacts with IFOR Nordic-Polish Brigade and IFOR-organised contacts with international representatives, protesting the blockage of the communities of Poljice and Hodzici. The decision was made in the view of the situation in the bordering Serb communities, and IFOR was required to immediately and unconditionally stop mistreating Serb residents and to resist form demonstrating force.

DOBOJ - The Association of Families of Killed Serb Soldiers from Doboj, expressed their astonishment due to incursion of IFOR soldiers into Poljice and Hodzici, warning that after this, the events started to slip out of control. In their protest, lodged with the commander of the Nordic-Polish Brigade, they said that RS borders are marked by bones of those in the name of whom the Association members are protesting, and that the Muslims "will not be rolled out a green carpet into Doboj".

BANJALUKA - Spokesman of the IFOR Sector South-West, Robert Jordan, confirmed in Banjaluka that the IFOR commander for this sector, John Clinsley, lifted a ban on movement and training for the VRS First Corps. Lt- colonel Jordan explained, at a regular press conference, that the VRS First Corps started on November 21 their regular mine clearance activities in their zone of operations.

BANJALUKA - IPTF spokesman for Sector West, Alun Roberts, announced that the High Court in Bihac prolonged detention for a Serb Milorad Marceta from Prijedor, who was arrested by Muslim on October 21 in Sanski most while he was visiting his house, on charges of the alleged war crimes committed in 1992.

SARAJEVO - OSCE spokesman, David Folly reiterated that this organisation would not forgo its earlier determined electoral rules for the municipal elections in the Dayton B-H. He explained that the form No. 2 would not include a possibility of voting in place where voters intend to live.

BIJELJINA - The UN special rapporteur, Elizabeth Rehn, stated in Bijeljina that the improvement in observance of human rights in evident after the signing of the Dayton agreement. The main reason for her arrival she said to be visit to the Bijeljina prison.
