BRCKO - The assistant to the RS internal minister, Milenko Karisik, stated in Brcko that the Serb police will make sure that the September elections be freely and peacefully conducted. At a regular staff of the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs, chaired by minister Dragan Kijac, it was concluded that police will rein force their work in order to ensure that preelection activities for the upcoming elections be done in peace. BRUSSELS - Representatives of the World Parliament of Serbs send a letter of protest to the OSCE because Joan Van Litt, spokesman of this organisation, forwarded a massage to vice president and acting president of RS, Dr. Biljana Plavsic in which she told to Biljana to "stop deceiving the people that the RS independency will be voted for at the upcoming elections". "The OSCE as organiser of the elections in the former B-H is violating all the rules of the European election laws and is prescribing what each candidate may say and what must not say in the preelection campaign", says the protest. BANJALUKA - According to the latest OSCE's data, some 617,599 refugees from RS and the CroatMuslim Federation who are eligible to vote registered so far in 50 countries all over the world. A total of 220,640 refugees eligible to vote registered in FR Yugoslavia, then 135,455 refugees in Croatia, 128,369 refugees in Germany, 29,725 refugees in Sweden, 22,643 refugees in Aus tria, 19,358 refugees in Switzerland and 10,485 refugees in Slovenia. BONN - According to the OSCE data, 132,850 eligible voters presently living in Germany registered for the upcoming elections in RS and the CroatMuslim Federation. All votes from Germany should be mailed from August 28 to September 3. BELGRADE - A total of 220,640 voters registered in FR Yugo slavia to vote at the September elections in RS and the Croat Muslim Federation, stated Zivota de Luka, the chief of the OSCE Office in Belgrade.
