A communique of the Serbs of Sweden says that a process of gathering signa tures from the Serbs in Europe against the Tribunal's proceedings against the Serb leaders is being carried out. SRBINJE - The Srbinjebased Association of the Serbs from Serb Sarajevo sent a telegram of support to the RS president Radovan Karadzic, demanding his candidacy at the upcoming elec- tions. "Dear President, you remain the deserving fighter for the Serbianhood and Orthodoxy. We want to create the RS together with you, that is why we are offering you our full support in your work, and ask you candidacy for the RS president at the upcoming elections", this was a message of about 2,000 members of the association. SRBAC - At the fifth extraordinary session of the Serbian Democratic Party Municipal Board of Srbac, participants decided to support Karadzic's candidacy for the RS president. SARAJEVO - According to SRNA's finding, an interview with the president of Republika Srpska (RS) Radovan Karadzic, pub lished today in La Stampa, was granted a long time ago. However in the recent days, the publishing of Radovan Karadzic's inter views have become frequent, but the interviews in question had been granted before RS president transferred some of his duties, as the contacts with the international community and public, to the RS vicepresident Biljana Plavsic on May 18. SARAJEVO - The high representative of the international community, Carl Bildt, stated that during next week the pressure upon the RS president Radovan Karadzic will be intensified to give up his candidacy at the September elections in RS and the CroatMuslim Federation. Numerous meetings and telegrams of support of the people in the RS demand Radovan Karadzic's candi dacy for president of RS. SARAJEVO - The president of the RS National Assembly Momcilo Krajisnik convened for tomorrow the 60th session of the RS Par liament, to being at 10:00 am in Pale. Deputies are to discuss the Bill on privatisation of companies and other economic issues. SARAJEVO - Because of the difficult energetic situation in the Krajina, due to razing of longdistance power line in the area of Brcko, the RS Government ordered police to carry out "physical securing of electric facilities". SARAJEVO - Regarding the death of the PASOK president, the former Greek prime minister, Andreas Papandreau, the prime minis ter of Republika Srpska (RS) Gojko Klickovic today sent a tele gram of condolence to the Greek people, PASOK leaders and the family of Mr. Papandreau. BEOGRAD - The president of Serbia Slobodan Milosevic re ceived in Belgrade the Finish foreign minister Tary Halonen, being in an official visit to Yugoslavia. Mrs. Halonen stated following the meeting, that she discussed with the Serbian presi dent the implementation of the Peace agreement. SARAJEVO - A visit of Croatian President Franjo Tudjman to Medjugorje (a city in Bosnia and Hercegovina), without the knowl edge of Muslim authorities, clearly shows that he considers western Hercegovina as a part of Croatia, assessed Muslim offi cials in Sarajevo.
