SARAJEVO - The Government of Republika Srpska (RS) deter mined the budged proposal for 1996, and pledged to correct the plan for funds allocation until next week's Parliament session. As priorities for budget allocation, the Government designated defence and social welfare areas. At the session, presided over by the RS prime minister Gojko Klickovic, the Government decided to consider the Proposal of measures and activities to overcome current social problems, after Parliament adopts the budget pro posal, while, in the meaning time, it would continue to fulfil its obligations towards some categories of populace.

SARAJEVO - The RS minister of judiciary, Marko Arsovic, read out a report at today's RS Government session, assessing that Dayton accords have a small value, for many of the same are written by shrewd political language, the meaning of which cannot be clarified by any of legal methods. "From the legal point of view, the provisions which cannot be interpreted are not obliga tory for anyone".

UGLJEVIK - The Ugljevik mayor, Miladin Stjepanovic confirmed today for SRNA that the Muslims razed the bridge on the Janja river, about 10 kms from Ugljevik, on the road for Teocak. "The bridge was razed yesterday where, upon our agreement with the Muslims, the RS-Federation border was changed. Now the border follows the course of the Janja river, which until now belonged the Federation", explained Stjepanovic.

BRCKO - IFOR, IPTF and Serb police have not yet determined the origin of eight strong detonations were heard in Brcko last night and this morning. IFOR commander for the Brcko region, colonel Kukolo, stated that the explosions took place on a mine field S from the community of Dizdarusa and N from the community of Omerbegovaca, inside the "pink zone" in RS.

SOKOLAC - The OSCE and RS election commissions' representa tives met in Skolac. The director of the OSCE Banjaluka Regional Centre Benjamin Karakostanoglou assessed at a meeting between OSCE and the RS election commissions' representatives that the meeting is very important, for voters lists and conditions and criteria for those who are to take part at the elections are to be reviewed.

BANJALUKA - IFOR Sector SouthWest commander, general Michael Jackson, stated today in Banjaluka that the multinational forces should prevent "collective and uncontrolled crossings of borders, which might become dangerous, even by blocking of lines of separation, if necessary". He said that "there is no absolute freedom of movement in any country in the world".

SARAJEVO - The director of the RS Employment Bureau, Slobo dan Gajovic, talked in Pale with the representative of the Inter national Labour Organisation (ILO) Anthony Twiger on possibili ties of training and retraining financing in RS companies. Twiger stated that the UN Development Programme (UNDP) approved one million of Dollars for retraining and training of workers in RS, and stressed that ILO's task is to mediate between RS Government and UNDP.

BEOGRAD - The Yugoslav Government accused Croatia of holding several hundreds Serbs in prisons in Croatia, announced the Yugoslav Commission for Humanitarian Matters and Missing Persons. "According to the Agreement on Cooperation, concluded on April 17 in Zagreb between Yugoslavia and Croatia, both sides ought to release all POWs, but Croatia is in breach of the Geneva Conven tion and Dayton agreement, refusing to fulfil its obligations.

MOSCOW - Russia considers the work of the Hague Tribunal for War Crimes as biased and serving political purposes, and it will not seek a compromise with the West regarding the turning over the RS leaders to the Tribunal, writes "Sevodnja". "Present events about the RS president Radovan Karadzic only deepen hatred and polarise forces", writes thee paper, referring to an unnamed official of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

DOBOJ - IFOR NordicPolish Brigade took two Serb "KREM" missiles on Saturday, and a Muslim pistol yesterday, stated IFOR press officer, major Arthur Golavski. "Serb missiles were taken and destroyed on Monday evening, for their transport through the exclusion zone was not agreed and announced", said Golavski.

BERLIN - The UN Security Council warned the Yugoslav Government to enhance its cooperation with the Hague Tribunal, otherwise it might face negative consequences, writes Tages Spiegel. /end/
