According to their statements, the Serb civilians were killed in Stublic, which is 40 kms distant from Krusev Do where they were found buried in an old Muslim grave.SARAJEVO - Last night, a group of Muslim young men opened fire at a passenger vehicle with Neven Tusevljak, driver and Slobodan Neskovic, assistant driver, at border between Dobrinja 1 and 4, the Serb and Muslim parts of Sarajevo. The deputy chief of Police in Kula, Cedo Nogo said, an unknown group of young men threw three hand bombs at moment when the vehicle was passing the bridge over the river Dobrinja. BANJALUKA - There is no Banjaluka or Doboj or any other region, but unitary Republika Srpska (RS), stated vicepresident of the Presidency of the Serbian Democratic Party, Borivoje Sendic. "Those speaking of regions do not want RS. But RS exists and will survive", concluded Sendic. PRIJEDOR - The Prijedor mayor Aleksandar Bereta stated that RS is an "unique organism with two lobes of lung." "There has never been antagonism between the western and eastern parts of RS, despite all discussions, imposed, naturally by life itself", stated Bereta. BIJELJINA - The Bijeljina mayor, Dragomir Ljubojevic, stated that "the intention of the international community to belittle the importance of RS in the implementation of the Dayton agree ment is a pure 'politicising' aimed at its breakup", and added that "it could provoke discontent among the Serb people, while threatening to widen distrust in peacebolstering efforts". TREBINJE - The president of the RS National Assembly, Momci lo Krajisnk today became the honorary resident of Trebinje. TREEBINJE - The relics of the St. Vasilije Ostroski and Tvrdoski Wondermaker, followed by religious procession, were translated from Tvrdos Monastery, near Trebinje, to a church build at place of the birth of the St. Vasilije Ostroski, in the village of Mrkonjici in Popovo Polje. SRBINJE - The general director of the Sarajevo Commercial Bank, Momcilo Mandic, stated that a large financial aid from the international community is not to be expected, and that the amounts mentioned do not mean cash."The West will aid in shape of thirdclass materials, obsolete machinery etc", he said. BEOGRAD - The governor of the National Bank of Yugoslavia, Dragoslav Avramovic is expected to be excluded from a delegation fro negotiations with the International Monetary Fund. The compo sition of the delegation and reestablishing of relations with the international monetary organisation will be discussed at a ses sion of the Federal Government in Belgrade. TESANJ - In a stement for Muslim RadioTesanj, the Secretary of the party of Democratic action (SDA) Mirsad Djeman opposed the "Croat domination in leadership of the central Bosnian canton", assessing it as dangerous for the survival of the Federation. "The parish priest of central Bosnia, Ivan Saric, and the presi dent of the Parish Board of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), Zoran Maric, are trying to incorporate Bugojno, Travnik and other cities of this part of the Federation into Croatia. They will not succeed even at the cost of breakup of the Federation", warns Djeman. ATHENS - The Greek Caravan of Solidarity plans to financially support war orphans under 16, who are not beneficiaries of other humanitarian help; the action is a part of humanitarian programme to RS. /end/ |
