SARAJEVO - The Republika Srpska (RS) ministers of industry and health, Milorad Skoko and Dragan Kalinic, signed today in Pale, an agreement on mutual cooperation with the representatives of the US "KPMG Barents" Company and the Swiss "Interchem Invest ment". The RS president Radovan Karadzic, stated at a press conference that these agreements, signed following two days of negotiations, are very important for the RS overall stability.

VUKOVAR - In the "Dudik" Memorial Centre in Vukovar a requiem for 5,000 Serbs killed by the German Fascist and Ustashe, during the WWII, was held today. More than 1,000 residents of Vukovar and neighbouring municipalities attended the service in remembrance to the victims.

DOBOJ - The IPTF spokesman in Doboj Andre Angeli stated at a press conference that complete results of an inquiry into the incident recently occurred in Sjenina Rijeka are expected to be available within ten days. He stated that the delay of the in quiry was due to contradictory reports from the site of the incident, so it is necessary to conduct the autopsy of the killed as soon as possible.

BRUSSELS - NATO and the Hague Tribunal representatives signed in Brussels an agreement which confirms the IFOR obligation to arrest persons indicted for war crimes "only when meet them", this was announced from the NATO HQ.

THESALONIKI - The Greek paper "Catimerini" pointed out that RS president Radovan Karadzic does not recognise the Hague Tribu nal's legitimacy, quoting him as saying "this court was estab lished with the aim to meet political goals, but not to support justice". "We condemn those Serbs who committed crimes against the Muslims", stated president Karadzic, rejecting a possibility of extraditing RS citizens to the Hague Tribunal.

AMSTERDAM - The Hague Tribunal stands on flimsy legs for a long time, so a single suspicion in its onesidedness or political abuse might be catastrophic, assessed the Dutch anthropologist Rene Gremo and publicist Abe de Flit. They warn that "the Hague Tribunal, as an 'ad hoc' established institution for war crimes, is obliged to find the right way how to create a balance between victims' claims and law and judiciary".

BELGRADE - The president of the Serbian Radical Party Vojislav Seselj stated in Belgrade that Yugoslavia "must not deliver any Serb to the Hague Tribunal". "The most striking fact is that the Hague Tribunal is dealing with lies", stressed Seselj.

SKOPLJE - The joint goal of the Muslim denouncing Yugoslavia and Albanians attempts at provoking destabilisation in the Kosovo through terrorist operations is reimposition of the sanctions against Yugoslavia, stated the president of the Democratic Party of Serbs in BJRM, Dragisa Miletic.

VIENNA - The Austrian minister of internal affairs Caspar Einem stated that refugees in this country will be allowed to stay by August 31, 1997. He said that this refers to 16,000 refugees from the former B-H, accommodated in refugee centres.
