SARAJEVO - The RS premier Rajko Kasagic talked in Pale with the French ambassador to Srpska and the Croat/Muslim Federation, Ives Goddain, about the situation following the Donors Conference in Brussels, as well as about the upcoming elections. "We know about the reasons why Srpska refused to attend the Conference in Brussels. The French position is that international aid should be given to both entities", said Goddain after the meeting. While assessing the visit of the French ambassador as welcomed, premier Kasagic stated that "the minimal RS request is that Srpska be treated equality with the Croat/Muslim Federation.

SARAJEVO - The Commander of HQ of the Republika Srpska Army /VRS/ lieutenant general Ratko Mladic sent a protest today to the Commanders of NATO and IFOR after yesterday's incident in Doboj, when multinational forces wounded two and lightly injured 10 Serb civilians. A protest sent to the NATO Commander general George Joulwan and the Commanders of IFOR, admiral Leighton W. Smith and general Michael Walker, it says that on Sunday, April 21, the multinational forces allowed 3,000 Muslims to pass the border and penetrate 1.5 kilometres into RS territory at Doboj. "The inhabitants of Doboj stopped the [Muslim] mass with their bodies. An IFOR major shot at the Serb civilians and wounded two persons, this representing a serious violation of IFOR's peace mission and its principles of impartiality", says Mladic's letter of protest.

SARAJEVO - The RS Army Sarajevo/Romanija Corps commander Dragomir Milosevic warned that the teams conducting the withdrawal of heavy weapons have yet to achieve any level of mutual trust. General Milosevic particularly stressed the fact that IFOR did not conduct a proper verification of the scale of Muslim and Croat sides compliance, as stipulated by the Dayton agreement.

THE HAGUE - Belgrade's attorney Toma Fila stated in the Hague that general Dordje Djukic's health has significantly worsened, because of which it is necessary to transfer him to Belgrade's VMA. Fila called IFOR, or some other international institution, to provide a medical helicopter or plane for the general's timely transfer.

PRISTINA - Five Serbs were killed and four injured in armed incidents in Kosovo provoked by Siptar extremists.

BANJALUKA - A rally was held in Banjaluka by the RS Associa tion of Missing and Captured Soldiers and Civilians, resulting in a letter being sent to those concerned in the international community, imploring them to pressure the Croat and Muslim au thorities into providing data on 2,000 captured Serbs.
