According to unof ficial sources, depositions must be delivered to the Hague tribu nal by this deadline. SARAJEVO - The International Police Task Force has the right to access and aid institutions applying international and na tional law, stated the minister of justice Marko Arsovic. "We came to certain arrangements which allow them to do the job they were send for", said Arsovic after today's meeting in Pale with IPTF chief Peter Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald was particularly inter ested in the just application of the legal code and the rights of prisoners as well as human rights in general. DOBOJ - Two Polish soldiers and a sergeant of the Norwegian Polish battalion were injured yesterday in a mine explosion in the separation zone between RS and the CroatMuslim Federation near Teslic. The brigade spokesman, major Arthur Golisevski, said the soldiers received serious wounds to their legs while the sergeant suffered eye injuries. BANJALUKA - The RS premier, Rajko Kasagic, received in Banjaluka the honorary RS citizen and world expert in the bone marrow transplantation, Dr. Marino Andolini. Kasagic said that Dr. Andolini wants to form a bone marrow transplant department at the Banjaluka hospital. TREBINJE - The RS Army Hercegovina Corps command in Bileca said that US Commerce Secretary Ron Brown's plane crashed "most probably because of the technical unpreparedness of the airport staff". LONDON - The International War Crimes Tribunal for former Yugoslavia will submit a formal request this week to the UN Security Council for the reimposition of sanctions against Yugo slavia for having, allegedly, offered sanctuary to persons in dicted for "the first ethnic massacre". "If Belgrade doesn't immediately extradite three officers of the former Yugoslav Army - Mile Mrksic, Miroslav Radic and Veselin Slivarcanin - the UN Security Council will have to give serious consideration to this Hague Tribunal request", a British diplomat said to SRNA's corre spondent in London. ZURICH - The Swiss Government decided to return B-H refugees to this country. The first 8,000 should leave Switzerland by the end of August, 1996, with all the refugees slated to leave this country by the end of 1997. SARAJEVO - The RS minister of religion, Dragan Davidovic, sent Easter greetings to RS Roman Catholics. NOVI SAD - The Director of Veterinary Institute in Novi Sad, Dr. Zoran Masic, did not exclude the possibility that tins of beef, which were part of EU humanitarian aid sent to Srpska, might cause "mad cow disease". |
