"42 Serb soldiers remain in Mostar prisons, and their release is expected to take place by the end of this month", said the member of the Serb Commission, Milan Ivancevic. DOBOJ - In the Tuzla Prison there are still 18 VRS members, registered by the ICRC, confirmed Doboj authorities. SARAJEVO - The president of the Republika Srpska (RS), Radovan Karadzic, wished happy Greek national holiday - Independ ence Day - to the Greek president and premier Kostis Stefanopulus and Kostas Simitis. In the greeting, the RS president said: "Receive expressions of our admiration and gratitude, together with our wishes that the Greek people keep heading towards its full economic prosperity, social and spiritual edification and strengthening of the Greek reputation and role it takes in strug gle for peace, friendship and cooperation of the Orthodox and other friendly nations". SARAJEVO - The minister of health, labour and welfare of the Republika Srpska (RS) Dragan Kalinic, and a representative of the Swiss Humanitarian Organisation for Aiding in Catastrophes, Toni Frish, agreed that the priority in distribution of humanitarian aid is the reconstruction of social care institutions. It was also agreed that funds go for the rebuilding of individual houses. BRCKO - The Brcko municipal officials will meet with the high representative of the international community, Carl Bildt, tomorrow in Doboj to discuss the problems of refugees in the area and the upcoming arbitrage on the status of the city. DOBOJ - A meeting between representatives of Serb and Muslim municipalities will be held tomorrow at IFOR check point in Stanica Rijeci, near Doboj, confirmed general Fin Searmark Tom sen, commander of the NordicPolish IFOR Brigade. TESLIC - The chief of Police in Teslic, Marinko Djukic, denied allegations by the president of the Main Board of the Socialist Party (SP) for the RS, Dragutin Ilic, that the repre sentatives of this police station attacked party activists during their Sunday' meeting in Blatnica, near Teslic. In a communique, Djukic confirmed that the promotion of SP "was not declared with the station, nor the policing was organised". BELGRADE - The president of the Democratic Party (DS), Miodrag Perisic, stated that following the Contact Group summit in Moscow, it remains unclear why the talks on the concrete pro gramme of economic aid are being constantly delayed. SARAJEVO - The leaders of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) talk in Sarajevo on the problems threatening the constituting of the CroatMuslim Federation, reports Muslim RadioSarajevo. The majority of the problems, impeding the establishment of the Federation, are pertaining to Croat obstructions in the creation of the Mostar and centralBosnian cantons, reports the Radio. SARAJEVO - The Bosnian Muslims leader, Alija Izetbegovic, dismissed claims of the republican leader in the U.S. Senate, Bob Dole, that in the CoatMuslim Federation there is still a large number of Mujaheddin from Iran. SARAJEVO - The president of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) for central Bosnia, Dzevad Mlaco, today accused the author ity of the Croatian Community of HerzegBosnia (HZ H-B) of ob- structing function of Federal authorities in the centralBosnian canton. He warned that the Croatian side is only declaratively pledged for the creation of the centralBosnian canton, while on the ground, they are doing all they can to obstruct all these efforts. ZAGREB - Croatia is not showing its readiness and hesitates to come to an agreement with the Muslim government on renting the Ploce Port, reports Muslim Radio. The Croatian side attempts to justify its reluctance by "sensitiveness of the matter" and additional consultations with the economic structures in charge. SARAJEVO - In premises of the "Luca" Humanitarian Organisa tion, working with the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), an exhibition of photographs titled "Dayton Sights" by authors Mile Rajic and Igor Dutina, was opened this evening. The DSS presi dent, Vojislav Kostunica, who opened the eightday exhibition, said that "By game of bad luck, two geographically distant cities - Sarajevo and Dayton - became closer". /end/
