In a communique transmitted to RADIO ROMANIA ACTUALITATI it is announced that the Romanian Foreign Ministry has a green free telephone line and an e- mail address which are aimed at improving communication with the citizens on the issue of visas asked for and given to Romanian citizens. The Romanian Foreign Ministry cannot but note that the number of visa applications is very big and the Western European countries are faced by numerous difficulties but still the Romanian Foreign Ministry cannot but react if the dignity of the Romanian citizens is not taken into account. The aim of the Romanian Foreign Ministry is to make known to Western European diplomatic missions in Bucharest if there are situations in which involved are Romanian citizens and which are not in keeping with the norms and principles which have been declared as viable by the respective diplomatic offices.

All cases will be tackled in the spirit of the excellent relations which exist between Romania and all Western European countries, specifies the communique of the Romanian Foreign Ministry in conclusion.
