[01] Flights in Tirane-Pristine line resumeTIRANE, Oct. 15 (ATA) - By M.Pupa: The first plane of "ADA AIR" civil company will resume flights on Saturday in the Tirane-Pristine line. A charter plane will flight from Rinas airport towards Pristine at 9 a.am.Sources from "ADA AIR" company told ATA that this company is the first one to flight to Pristine after the crisis in Kosove. This airline had planned to resume flights towards Pristine on October 18, but the flights will resume on Saturday, October 16, due to many requests. "ADA AIR" will flight three times a week to Pristine. The departure from Rinas airport will be at 11 a.m while a return ticket will cost $190. "Albanian Airlines" company will resume flights on Sunday and will flight to Pristine during all the days of the week. Albanian Airlines will travel to Pristine every day. Present in the first trip from Tirana to Prishtina was also the Albanian Foreing Minister Paskal Milo, as well as a group of journalists of different press organs, electronic media and the Albanian Telegraphic Agency. "This inauguration trip of Tirane-Prishtine airline, follows several joint occasions held during the last months making us feel closer to Kosova", Minister Milo said before departing. "ADA AIR" airplanes will fly to Prishtina every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11.oo, while the return ticket will cost US$ 190. Albanian Airlines will resume flights towards Prishtina on Sunday. "The airplanes of this company will fly towards Prishtina in all days of the week," the manager of this company, Feliks Baci, told ATA. Fejzullai: - The humanitarian association "World Doctors" is carrying out a project to help the primary health service in Korce district."Through this project the complete rehabilitation of the health centers in six villages of this district will be made possible", Gjergji Mikerezi, head of this sector, told ATA. The project is sponsored by the European Union with some $300 000 and plans to equip these centers with modern medical apparatuses as well as with various medicaments. During the project implementation, several qualification courses for the centers' personnel will be organized. The importation of the group "Machineries, equipment and changing parts", held about 25,2% of the total trade importation during this month. "People and politicians of Kosova and Albania are not to be praised only by foreigners. The Albanian government gives message to preserve the precious values we have", said Majko. Reinhard and Milo met early on Saturday at the KFOR headquarters. The high German officer considered very significant the visit of Albanian Foreign Minister to Kosova and said that this would pave the way for strengthening cooperation to resolve issues of joint interest. Milo considered excellent the KFOR performance in establishing security in Kosova. He said that he had been fully assured by commander Reinhard that the mission he leads will be engaged in settling the Mitrovice issue. Milo called on the Albanians of Mitrovice to stay away from the Serb provocations. "They should be attentive, tolerant and cautious," he said. Milo is on a two-day visit to Prishtine. Minister Meksi presented the work done by the Albanian Government concerning the reforms and asked for assistance and cooperation to start the operations in Elbasani-Librazhd road, part of Corridor 8. The Directors of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development discussed with the Albanian Minister about trade facilitating and development and starting of association process in EU. They pointed put that the reviewing of EBRD strategy for Albania is foreseen to be completed in the end of October 1999. They, also, talked about the privatization of strategic sectors of the economy, such as telecommunication and energy. The proposal of the Minister of Finances came out after the meeting with the representatives of International Monetary Fund mission and CAM- Albania in Tirana. At the moment commando troops are located in Durresi Port, where their work in combating the contraband and other illegal activities marked positive results. The installation of commando troops in two greatest ports of Albania, Durresi and Vlora Port, are undertaken in frame work of implementation the anti-corruption plan by the part of Albanian Government. /lh/linda/ D'Arc Avenue 23, Tirana, Albania E-Mail: Albanian Telegraphic Agency[11] Italian Ministry of Culture donates 470 million lira for reconstruction of former Palace of PioneersTIRANE, Oct. 16 (ata) - By K Shehu: Some 470 million lira, a donation of the Italian Ministry of Culture will be used for the reconstruction of the former Palace of Pioneers in Tirane which, by a decision of the Albanian Government will be the new building for the Institute of Monuments.Sources from the Institute of Monuments reported that the project envisages the rehabilitation of the compound of the Palace of Pioneers, its equipment with contemporary means and rehabilitation of the decoration park which is in front of this palace. The transfer of the Institute of Monuments in the 'new' building will be made for the fact that the present building of the Monuments of Culture is a property of legal owners. The former Palace of Pioneers, with a special architecture, is a monumental building constructed at the beginning of this century. At the moment it is working on rehabilitation of the town hospital and on construction of a new two-stored building close to it, where the urgency, intensive care unit, etc, will be installed. The operations in these objects are foreseen to be completed within 24 months. Milo said that his mission is to bring the political factor in Kosova closer together because, he said, the international community cannot realise its objectives alone. The chairman of the Democratic Union League of Kosova, Rexhep Qosja, appreciated the aid of the Albanian Government and diplomacy during the Rambouillet talks. "You have been very close to us in those difficult moments, when we had to take historic decisions," said Qosja. He said that for Kosova there can be no government without Kosovars. "Further on, the political parties in Kosova should create the conditions to go, through a consensus, towards elections, which are indispensable to find the real representatives of the people," said Surroi. Referring to the Organisational Council, Surroi said that it may encounter difficulties precisely because of failure to hold elections in Kosova, as the persons to be included in this Council may not be representatives of the people. This was an absurd act, a self-killing act of ours, an act of Albanian tragedy. The war in Kosova was the other dramatic act when all southern Kosova border was rapidly mined." Lulja, The reconstruction of the train station in Elbasan city will begin soon, the director of this station, Aranit Cela, reported on Saturday.Non Governmental Organisations DFID and IRC are managers of this project. They will invest $39 000 through UNHCR, Cela explained. The works will include the setting up of two reception halls and the creation of the appropriate conditions for passengers. Built 35 years ago, the train station in Elbasan was reconstructed for the first time in 1984. /lh/lm/ D'Arc Avenue 23, Tirana, Albania E-Mail: Albanian Telegraphic Agency[17] High Council of Justice discharges three judgesTIRANE, Oct. 16 (ata) - The High Council of Justice (KLD) dismissed three judges in its meeting held on Saturday under the chairmanship of the KLD Head, Rexhep Meidani.The Council examined several proposals by the Minister of Justice, and discussed some problems worrying the judiciary at present, press office of KLD reports. At the proposal of the Minister of Justice, KLD discharged form the post the judge Gasper Elezi in the Court of Shkoder district, Gramoz Lika, assistant judge in Mirdite district court and Ndue Gjelaj, assistant judge in Kruje, because they had made grave violations in the trial procedures of cases. While Rexhep Karaj, judge in Mat, was criticized for procrastination of a trial. Also some assistant judges were released from their new posts for not appearing to take their duty and for their appointment to other tasks outside judiciaries. Haxhiu, The parties of political grouping "Union for Democracy" on Saturday declared that they would begin protests all over the country."The aim of our protests is to topple the current political state power and early elections at home," said Sali Berisha, DP chairman. On behalf of the political grouping ex-President Berisha added that "Next Saturday will mark the beginning of continuous protests in the country." For nearly one year, the DP and its allies seemed to have given up the policy of street protests, declaring as constructive the road of dialogue with the government coalition.
