[01] "East" finances projects to rehabilitate power system in KorceKORCE, Sept 19 (ATA)-By B. Fejzullai, Two projects for the rehabilitation of energy system in the district of Korce have been financed by humanitarian mission "EAST".Gaqo Blushi, director of the energy affiliation for this region said on Sunday that this mission provided $20 000 for the project to rehabilitate the hydro-power station of Gjanc, which was completed several days ago. The hydro-power station of Gjanc, 3 000 kilowatt/hour serves as a condenser to normalise tension in the region's system and is supplying with electricity 14 villages of the surrounding area, Blushi said. The second project, for which the "EAST" humanitarian mission will help normalise the supply of Korce with electricity. Blushi said that the works to implement the project will start within September and take 30 days.
