Procurement of both the signalling and communications equipment will improve efficiency and safety along with the east-west corridor rail routes in Albania. Since 1995, TDA has actively promoted U.S. business interests in Albania. As the three countries upgrade their transportation infrastructure, they foster a more general, regional cooperation and economic integration. TDA is responsible for implementing this initiative by providing support to public and private transportation sector projects which enhance the connection among the three South Balkan countries and promote U.S. export opportunities.
