    TIRANA, AUGUST 25 (ATA) - The dailies are focused today in the second SP congress which started yesterday. Rilindja Demokratike carries today the message of President Sali Berisha to the Socialist party Congress under the title "Dissolve and create a new party." Further on the paper writes "Socialists far from a social democratic party," and cites SP chairman Fatos Nano saying in his address to the congress: "SP is infected by splits." Regarding the second SP congress, Zeri i Popullit writes: "A party of all sided change and reformation." The paper makes coverage of the report to the congress by Servet Pellumbi, deputy chairman, under the title "SP - a party of a clear vision for the present and the future," and the address of SP chief Fatos Nano under the title "The petition - a new vision for the future." Republika considers the SP congress as the congress of continuity and writes that "the solution to the enigma of the the secretary, the barometer which clan is going to win." Poli i Qendres writes: "Second stage of the congress starts. Tension in the party lead" and further on this paper considers the 48 hours of the congress as "decisive." Speaking of the message of Berisha, the paper writes: "The head of state asks SP to dissolve." Tribuna reflects the SP congress writing that "Today is the great battle for power." Albania writes: "Fatos Nano on the frontal attack towards his opponents to the motion: Deputies must leave: Nano himself to elect the presidency." The paper also writes "Nano's correspondence - an offence for his advocates." Lajmiidites carries the message of Berisha to the SP congress under the title "A party with real social democratic ideals is needed," adding that "Nano is attacking the presidency." Koha Jone writes for the congress: "Dokle (SP deputy chairman) attacks the Nano family." Further on it writes that "Berishs's message refused." Gazeta Shqiptare writes: "The congress hall - an arena of fierce debates. The fate of the new party chief to be decided today." Further on its writes that "Nano and the Presidency in open struggle." kei/xh/k

    [02] FLORYHEN ENTERPRISE HELPS ORPHANS

    DURRES, AUGUST 25 (ATA) - By S Gjordeni: The Albanian-Italian joint venture for the rearing of poultry and for eggs, Floryhen, in Durres, 45 km from Tirana, is for some time now helping the orphanage in this city. It provides regularly 1 500 eggs per month for the 50 children from 0-3 years in the orphanage. Floryhen is also assisting the sport activities in the district of Durres.
