Radoje Kontic, and taking part in its work was the Governor of the National Bank of Yugoslavia (NBJ), Dragoslav Avramovic, the Yugoslav Information Secretariat said in an announcement. The Government reviewed a report by the Yugoslav delegation at the talks with representatives of the IMF and the World Bank held in Paris March 28 - April 2. In noting that the Paris talks had opened a process of normalization of relations with the IMF and the World Bank, the Government assessed that these talks had enabled a useful exchange of views and data on the questions crucial to the normalization of relations between the F.R.Y. and the IMF as one of the foreign political and economic priorities of the Yugoslav Government. The Government noted that, concerning certain points, there were motions which deviated from the basis determined for the talks, but the delegation did not take over any obligations that would contradict the platform established by this Government. The Government named Jovan Zebic, Vice-Premier and Federal Finance Minister, as coordinator for the future activities related to the negotiations with the IMF and other international financial organizations. The Federal Finance Ministry was assigned - in cooperation with the NBJ, the Federal Foreign Ministry and other competent organs, once an answer was received from the IMF concerning the legal aspects of the inheritance of membership - with preparing a draft platform for resumed negotiations with the IMF, the World Bank and other financial organizations.
