DOBOJ - The president of Government of Republika Srpska /RS/ Milorad Dodik confirmed in Doboj that the Decision on appointing the an agent for part of local radio-stations in RS will remain in effect until the normalisation the situation in these media. At the press conference he assessed as illegal "the speculations of those who are commenting this decision of RS Government". "The political situation in RS is good, first of all because the international position of Srpska has never been better" said Dodik and added "that if in January was not changed the Government, RS would have been reduced in its political, legal and territorial sense, or even would not exist".

DOBOJ - RS has got 200 buses as the donation of Italian Government, and they will be used for improvement of city and inter-city traffic - stated the president of RS Government Milorad Dodik in Doboj. He specified that the contract about donation will be signed on August 3 in Banja Luka, after what will follow the delivery of buses. On this occasion the premier Dodik called upon the municipal authorities in Doboj to include itself in providing buses for needs of this municipality, expressing the discontentment because of its non-cooperativeness in contacts with Government, because of what, Dodik thinks, the detriments could have only citizens of Doboj. The president of RS Government has expressed the conviction that "RS Railways will very soon come out to the world".

DOBOJ - The president of RS Government Milorad Dodik reminded the construction workers which are laying down asphalt on the section of the road Seslije-Derventa and praised their efforts for quick completion of works. Dodik and Slavko Dragicevic, the director of contractor Doboj putevi, has announced at the press conference that RS Government and this enterprise will participate in financing the roads in the region of Doboj municipality. Dragicevic thanked to Government of RS, by which engagement his enterprise has got jobs in value amounting 15 millions of German marks in middle and eastern part of RS.

DOBOJ - The executive Board of Serbian Radical Party /SRS/ of RS has supported the demand of the Commission of the National Assembly of RS for covering media and supervising of the work of MUP /ministry of internal affairs/ and Defence ministry, that at the next session of parliament, august 13, would be analysed the state of security in the Republic and legality of the work of Government in these areas. In the announcement of Executive Board of SRS is stressed that Serbian radicals are supporting the stances of the Commission from the yesterday's session held in Doboj, according to which the use of the police forces in implementation of the Decision of RS Government on replacement of directors and editors in chief of local media "is rough and illegal".

PRISTINA - The border units of Yugoslavian Army, in the border region western from village Smionica in the municipality Djakovica, prevented great group of terrorists in the attempt to cross through fighting the border and go into Albanian territory - has announced last night the informational service of the Third Army. "The terroristic group was dispersed and suffered the great casualties" - is said in the announcement.

PRISTINA - In the strong blast last night was completely destroyed the stand with various articles, twenty meters far from the Surgical Clinic of Clinical-Hospital Centre in Pristina - learns SRNA at the spot. Nobody was wounded, and no material damages was made at the building of Centre.

LONDON - Pristina media centre announced that British Sally Becker, who was detained because of illegal stay and attempt of leading another persons over the Yugoslavian border to Albania, was expelled from FR Yugoslavia, and not freed, as reported some foreign agencies. Yugoslavian authorities deported Ms. Beckers and she is on the way towards Great Britain. She had started the hunger strike in the prison in Lipljan, near Pristina, on July 27.

MOSTAR - At the request of OSCE sub-commission for media the editor of Radio Herceg-Bosna and author of the comment "Marked with x-sign" apologised in the yesterday's central information programming to the listeners and OSCE because on July 26 he conveyed a part of text of Zagreb's daily "Vjesnik" in which putting x-sign besides the names of some voters Croats is compared with Hitler's marking Jews with yellow ribbon. "The comment was extremely incorrect, imperfect, partial and presented in the ultimately instigating manner. In his comment I did not try to explain and include the former statements of OSCE officials related to this issue" - says the author.
