"The Hague Tribunal suspects them of war crimes committed in the regions of the former Yugoslavia" also is said that ,allegedly, during the war "they were watchmen in the Keraterm camp", is said in the announcement.MILICI - The decision made by the Republika Srpska (RS) President, Biljana Plavsic, about dismissing of the Milici Municipal Assembly and the Municipal Assembly Executive Board, was made on the basis of the RS Government recommendation. Through the relevant Ministries on several occasions the RS Government found out that the local authority was permanently violating the law and constitutionalism and the local authority was not even performed. This has been stressed in the public announcement by representatives of the Boards of the Serbian People's Union, Milorad Filipovic, the RS Democratic Party, Cedo Madzarevic, the RS Socialist Party, Svetozar Marinkovic, the SRS RS Dusan Djuric and the Club of independent delegates, Momir Lazarevic, from Milici. BANJALUKA - Thanks to the World Mail (Post) Union (UPU), the OSCE and the OHR for B&H, the postage traffic between the RS and the FB&H is operating again. The shots were fired from ambush on the police patrol, in whici was Ceranic, with the automatic weapons and RPG. PRISTINA - Illegal Albanian Parliament in Kosmet acknowledged the terroristic "Kosovo Liberation Army" (OVK) as a "part of the struggle for liberation" - is said in the resolution of that Parliament - DPA reports. This is the first acknowledgment of the OVK through a political body, headed by the Democratic Union of Kosovo and Ibrahim Rugova and who is accepted by the international community as a negotiating partner. BELGRADE - Becuase of the security reasons Yugoslavia will expand its border area toward Albania, controlled by the FRY Army for 5 km, what will engage additional troops in that area - the President of the FRY Government, Momir Bulatovic, said in an interview with the TV-station Studio B in Belgrade. According to the current regulations, the border zone under control of the FRY Army was 1km wide. BANJALUKA - The President of the Banjaluka City Assembly, Djordje Umicevic, received a group of students from Bulgaria, from a Serbian language and literature department at the Universities in Sofia, Veliko Trnovo and Blagoevgrad and expressed hope that they would become the ambassadors of the Serbian culture in Bulgaria. Bulgarian students attend the first summer school for foreign languages and in the next ten days they will attend the classes of Serbian language and literature and the Serbian national history. JULY 23, 1998 DAYNEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKATHE HAGUE - Predrag and Nenad Banovic, who were arrested last night in Prijedor, have been transferred to the Hague court prison in Seweningen - the Tribunal spokesman Christian Sartie stated. On July 27th on Monday they will be taken before the Tribunal where they will plead wheter they feel guilty or not to the accusations. The Hague Tribunal indictment, charges them of violation of the Geneva convention regulations and war law, torturing the people and violation of human rights.THE HAGUE - Death of the former Mayor of Vukovar, Slavko Dokmanovic, charged with war crimes, came as a result of a suicide - is said in the report of the inquiry team of the Tribunal, issued in the Hague. According to this report, signed by a judge Almiro Rodriguez, on the night between June 28th and 29th, Dokmanovic hung himself in the prison cell, "the inquiry found no traces of violation that would lead to a conclusion that he was murdered". BANJALUKA - The RS President of the Social-Liberal Party, Miodrag Zivanovic, said that his party condemned recent statements made by the RS President Biljana Plavsic about another launching of building of Srpsko Sarajevo, because that is the "unjustified investment and has no real foundation". Speaking about the implementation of the Dayton Peace Accord, Zivanovic said at a press-conference in Banjaluka that "no combination includes revision of the Peace Agreement, and there can be no discussions on that issue". BANJALUKA - The B&H Socialdemocratic Party presented in Banjaluka first on the lists and candidates from RS for the forthcoming elections in September. The President of this party, Sejfudin Tokic, promoted at a press-conference firsts on the lists for the House of Representatives of the B&H Parliamentary Assembly, Boro Bajic from Knezevo, for the RS National Assembly, Zijad Mehmedagic from Doboj and a candidate on the list for the RS Parliament, Ulfeta Kobaslic from Banjaluka. SKOPLJE - Behind the newest explosions in Skoplje and Kumanovo stands the so called "Kosovo Liberation Army" (OVK) and they are the signals denoting the beginning of the war in FYRM - media in Tirana report. Albanian state Radio-television broadcasted news that for mentioned explosions in Skoplje and Kumanovov the terroristic OVK took the responsibility. CLEVELAND - The ethnic Albanian desire for "greater Albania" aroused western diplomats, because that might bring new war clashes or violation of the Dayton Peace Accord - the "Christian Science Monitor" reports. The State Department is against the "Greater Albania" because of fear for stability in the whole region, and some changes in the Dayton Accord might encourage Serbs to continue to ask for their unfulfilled territorial demands - says the paper. MOSCOW - The U.S. vice-president, Al Gore, started with the working visit to Russia, Russian media reported. The U.S. vicepresident is due to have talks today with the Russian Prime Minister, Sergei Kirienko. They will have talks about current issues of the Russian-American cooperation in the field of trade and investments, Cosmos, civil aviation, conversion of the military-industrial complex and environment. BRCKO - Under supervision of the OHR and the Municipal Association of the small-scale industry, tomorrow in Brcko will be held Construction-Trade fair. The fair will gather more than 30 contractors, suppliers, distribution enterprises and specialised enterprises, which will present themselves to the international organisations, charged for realisation of building and other projects in the region of Brcko. DERVENTA - In the region of the Derventa Municipality, dismissals of collective shelters should begin soon, keeping in mind that the Head Office for Renewal and building in RS set aside for that purpose 402,000 DM. These assets will be invested for reconstruction of one residential building in which will be settled refugees from collective shelters. PRIJEDOR - In the Central Police station in Prijedor in two days time, 124 applications were submited for issuing the passports, of which 75 have been already processed. According to Ranka Sormaz, supervisor for issuing the passports, the service is operating in two shifts and for now the whole process had lasted less than previously planed 15 days. BANJALUKA - A rector of the Banjaluka University, Dragoljub Mirjanic, received a group students from Bulgaria from a Serbian language and literature department at the Universities in Sofia, Veliko Trnovo and Blagoevgrad and during the occasion he presented them potentials and possibilities of RS. JULY 23, 1998 EVENINGNEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKASARAJEVO - The UNHCR office for the legal assistance in Pale appealed to citizens who still have not submitted a claim for return of tenancy rights over their apartments in FB&H to do that until October 4th, at latest. "A claim for return of tenancy rights, previously socially owned property, and proclaimed abandoned during the war and given to someone else, is in accordance with the new property and housing laws adopted by the FB&H Parliament", the UNHCR stated.VUCITRN - Under pressures of the Albanian terrorists on the village of Taradza in the Vucitrn Municipality, the last Serbian family has left the village of Taradza - SRNA has learned from representatives of the Municipal authorities in Vucitrn. Manasija Vucitrn along with her sons Novica, Jovica and Stevica and a daughter Marina asked for help in Vucitrn, and she is now in the building of the Municipal Red Cross. VUCITRN - Last night, groups of Albanian terrorists on several occasions have been attacking villages of Nevoljane and Vrmci in the Vucitrn Municipality - SRNA has learned from representatives of the local authorities in Vucitrn. Serbs from these villages who have been standing on a guard for months now, answered the attacks and terrorists retreated toward Cicevina. JULY 23, 1998 EVENINGNEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKAPARIS - Delegations of Republika Srpska (RS), FB&H and the Council of Ministers asked from 16 countries, the Paris club creditors, for 85% of debt to be written off instead of previously arranged 67%, the debt left out from the former Yugoslavia. Members of the Paris club, among which the biggest creditors are France, Germany and Austria, in the name of an old debt, claim from B&H $U.S.761 millions, which is 13,2% of the unlocated debt of SFRJ - the debt for which it cant be established who was the credit beneficiary.PRISTINA - For more than 100 days Albanian terroristic gangs have been holding in encirclement and under fire 76 Serbian families in Kijevo, as well as 20 policemen, is said in the appeal of the Klina Municipal Assembly to the relevant institutions in Serbia. "Situation in Kosovo is utterly dramatic and serious, and life and existence of those Serbs have been brought to question", is said in the announcement.
