BELGRADE - In the Cathedral in Belgrade His Holy Highness patriarch Serbian
Mr. Pavle with clergy served the Christmas vigilance by which is announced
the birth of Jesus Christ. To the service of vigilance attended a great
number of believers.
BIJELJINA - His Holy Highness bishop zvornicko-tuzlanski Mr. Vasilije
called upon the numerous believers, after burning the yule log in front of
the house of municipal assembly Bijeljina, at the overall national
reconciliation "in this, for Serbian people in Republika Srpska /RS/,
ominous moment". "We hope that we shall be free and that we shall not
return on the path from which for Serbian people there is no return.
Therefore, let all party leaders reconcile and all those who have to lead
the Serbian people into the happier future" - gave a message the bishop
Vasilije.
PALE - In the presence of the great number of citizens in Pale in the
Church of the Most Holy Theotokos was announced the Christmas vigilance and
in the Church yard the consecration and ritual burning of the yule log. To
the vigilance and burning attended the president form RS in Presidency of
B&H Momcilo Krajisnik and vice=president of Government Velibor Ostojic and
many other representatives of the municipality.
BIJELJINA - The editors in chief of the Serbian radio Milivoje Tutnjevic
and Serbian Television Drago Vukovic sent a letter to the High
representative Carlos Westendorp with the wish that for whole territory of
Republika Srpska will be secured the electronic media coverage of the
second part of National assembly on January 12. Expressing the conviction
that Mr. Westendorp is acquainted with problems why the direct broadcasting
of the first part of inaugural session was not realised, the leading
persons of the Serbian Radio-TV (SRT) remind that the live coverage
of all great events is possible only along the joint engagement
of all parts of the unique system of this informational house.
BELGRADE - The associate of the Belgrade's Institute for geopolitics
Tomislav Kresovic assesses that "the sense and the message of the letter of
hid Holy Highness patriarch Serbian Mr. Pavle sent to the students of the
Albanian nationality in Kosovo is of multi-dimensional character". Kresovic
said for SRNA that "patriarch's message was sent as the spiritual epistle
with the need of looking for the dialogue and negotiations in the
spirit of tolerance, confidence and without usage of force".
KIEV - The Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksander Kuzmuk will arrive on
Wednesday in Mostar in order wish merry Christmas to the Ukrainian soldiers
in SFOR - announced the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence.
