NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BELGRADE - As SRNA learns the members of the delegation from Republika Srpska (RS) are going to travel at the Bonn Conference from the airport Surcin in Belgrade in 4:00 pm. The President of RS Biljana Plavsic, and the part of delegation led by President in Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H) Presidency from RS Momcilo Krajisnik will be in the plane. Also, in Bonn will depart the Chief of RS President Cabinet Dr. Milos Prica, the Economical and Legal Advisors of RS President Prof.Dr. Rajko Tomas, and Prof.Dr. Milan Dupor, the Co-chair of B&H Council of Ministers Boro Bosic, the Minister for Civilian Affairs and Communications Spasoje Albijanic, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Deputy Dragan Bozanic, and Nenad Radovic, Radomir Lukic, Jovan Zametica and Momir Brajic.

BRCKO - The International Supervisor Robert Farrand appointed Dragan Mihajlovic for the President and Jozo Andjic for the Vice-President of the Municipal Court in Brcko. According to November 14th Amendment of the Directive about judiciary, Supervisor appointed Irfan Selimovic for the Public Prosecutor and the Public Prosecutor Deputy Slavko Lakic. The President of the Magistrate Court will be Milenko Mihajlovic and the magistrate will be Safet Pizovic.

BRCKO - According to technical results of parliamentary elections which were published yesterday by OSCE, Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) was encroached by different machinations for three to four seats in the parliament - considers the SDS spokesman Mladen Bosic. At the press conference in Brcko he emphasised that "these machinations were - for the difference of last-year elections when the fraud was committed with the votes from abroad - performed with the votes from B&H Federation (FB&H)." "We will ask an explanation from the Supervisor, where did he get the right to ban the privatisation process, because we could talk about that much earlier" - said Bosic and added that the Amendment on the Directive about judiciary and prosecutor's office is unacceptable.

AMSTERDAM - The Dutch media are stressing that Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) lost absolute majority in National Assembly (NA) of Republika Srpska (RS), stating that "national monolitheness was broken thanks to the moves of president Biljana Plavsic, dismissing old parliament and repealing media with national editorial policy". From the non-governmental organisation "Helsinki watch" was learnt that the Bonn Conference will quite surely bring the extending mandate of the High Representative Carlos Westendorp and give to him the position of the main and inviolable arbiter in interpreting vagueness of Dayton Agreement.

HAMBURG - By the electoral successes of SDS and radicals was done the serious brunt to the intention of West to integrate RS into unitary B&H using ambiguous interpretation of Dayton Agreement - is complaining the anti-Serbian German news "Tageszeitung". The news concludes that the massive investments into Biljana Plavsic were in vain. "The situation for West became more difficult than it could be imagined, because Serbian national block has full right to consider itself as democratic and legitimate representative of the Serbian people, what is confirmed also by the official OSCE assessments that the parliamentary elections in RS were correct and democratic".

BELGRADE - The President of Serbian Radical Party (SRS) Vojislav Seselj considers that OSCE, at the parliamentary elections in RS, had "brutally grabbed" three seats in the parliament from SDS. In the exclusive statement for SRNA, Seselj emphasised that voting in abroad is very suspicious. "In abroad, all ballots are falsified in favour of Muslim parties, with an aim to provide majority for them, and minority for Serbian parties" - emphasised Seselj.

BANJALUKA - According to preliminary results which were announced by Provisional Election Commission (PEC), 65 representatives from five political parties from RS and 18 representatives from one coalition and one party from FB&H, will have seats in the new RS parliament. For forming of parliamentary majority, which will have the right to constitute new Government, the three-party coalition is needed, but, now is difficult to predict further moves of parties.

BELGRADE - The expert for military questions from the Institute for Geopolitical Sciences, Radovan Radinovic which assessed the "Train and Equip" programme as "unreasonable and biased", considers that is "unnecessary to rise political tensions in advance, but that eventual joining of RS in this programme demands complete change of the system of military thinking and working." He emphasised in the interview for the Belgrade's paper "Democracy" that "because of relations which are established, the additional arming of Muslim and Croats is totally illogical."

BIJELJINA - In the privatisation centres in the municipality Bijeljina till November 18th, 1,800 citizens were additionally registered, and the interested persons can enlist in two centres till December 18th from 8:00 am till 8:00 pm.
