NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

SARAJEVO - The first on list of Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/ for coming elections in RS will be Aleksa Buha, presiding of Presidency of Party. This was decided at the session of the Main Board of the party in Pale. According to the director of the Head Office of SDS Vlado Vrkes, the Main Board of the party determined the final list of candidates for parliamentary elections, on which, between others, are Milovan Pegloda from Banja Luka, Milan Novakovic from Bijeljina, Borislav Bojic from Prijedor, Dragan Kalinic from Serbian Sarajevo.

SARAJEVO - The focus of work of the Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/ until the impending parliamentary elections in Republika Srpska /RS/ will be carried to the Western part of RS - stated the chairman of the Presidency of SDS Aleksa Buha. He precisely stated that the party will after parliamentary elections make its best efforts on reiterated consideration of the seat of Government and particular state institutions.

SARAJEVO - Because of the damage on the transmitter system of "Telecom of RS" on the object on Trebevic, the telephone connections of Serbian Sarajevo with the other world are disconnected from 8,00 h A.M.

BANJA LUKA - The president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic talked in Banja Luka with the U.S. Ambassador to Sarajevo Richard Clausarich and deputy special U.S. envoy for Balkans Matthew Dally about the coming parliamentary elections and work of Serbian media. Clausarich stated that this was one in the series of meetings with representatives of both entities in B&H and that the topics were of great importance for all peoples in these regions.

SARAJEVO - The president of Presidency of Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/ Aleksa Buha stated that he expects that this party on the elections on November 23, will again win and get majority of delegate seats in National Assembly of RS. In the statement for SRNA Buha assessed that the presidential elections will not be held on December 7, as was anticipated by Belgrade's Agreement.

DOBOJ - The civilian Nenad Cabric was injured in the zone of separation west from Doboj during clearing mine fields, while on October 21 in Svetlica, on the territory of RS, from explosion of mine died Mehmed Nurkovic, from the municipality Gracanica, in Federation B&H /FB&H/ - was announced at the press conference of SFOR in Doboj.

BRCKO - The programme of reconstruction of police forces in Brcko, in accordance with the agreement between RS Government and IPTF, started in Police station with the expert lectures for first group of 25 Serbian policeman.

BANJA LUKA - The Serbian Patriotic Party will come out independently on next parliamentary elections in RS and first on the list will be its president Slavko Zupljanin - was announced at the press conference of this party in Banja Luka.

SARAJEVO - The journalists from RS and FB&H did not attend the action of destroying the excess of armament which in B&H performs French-German expert team because the accord for visiting Bijeljina was not reached.

BRCKO - The director of the bureau of RS for Yugoslavia in Belgrade Danilo Dursun stated, commenting the future of Brcko after the beginning of arbitrage procedure in Vienna, that this city is of vital importance for RS. Dursun assessed that "there do not exist political party in the world, nor within the country, which dare play with the destiny of Brcko, because that is the city of vital importance for RS".
