PALE - The Chinese Ambassador for B&H in Sarajevo His Excellency Ven Xigui expressed in Pale the hope that traditionally good relations between Serbian and Chinese people will be continued. Xingua was received by the president in the Presidency of B&H from Republika Srpska /RS/ Momcilo Krajisnik, exchanging with him the attitudes about the future of political and economic relations. China recognises B&H as the state community of two entities and expect that better acquainting with the situation will lead to the concrete economic arrangements. Since RS has got the post of Ambassador in Beijing, the further successful cooperation between China and B&H is expected, i.e. between Chinese and Serbian people.

BANJA LUKA - The president of RS Biljana Plavsic rejects to appear before the Constitutional Court, although she was invited, as the party in dispute, tomorrow to attend the session of the Court - confirmed her legal adviser Milan Dupor. "I guarantee that president will not come to the session of the Constitutional Court tomorrow", stated Dupor. The adviser of Ms. Plavsic deems that "this invitation is not ion accordance with the procedural rules" because "the president was invited to participate at the session of the Court behind the closed doors".

BANJA LUKA - The deputy High Representative in B&H Gerd Wagner is making efforts for new parliamentary elections in RS, as the way for getting out of current crisis. He talked about this in Banja Luka with the president of RS Biljana Plavsic, and as the particular question he assigned the Law on passport and citizenship, about what will be talked the day after tomorrow at the session of the Council of Ministers in Sarajevo. "It would be good if the citizens of RS have passports, so they can travel" - concluded Wagner and added that "he do not understand the problem of opening airport in Banja Luka, and resistance for that issue in the joint institutions". On the question of reporters will he attend tomorrow the session of the Constitutional Court, Ms. Plavsic replied that her agent was there when the discussions were lead and that she doesn't see the reason for her presence.

SARAJEVO - The Constitutional Court of RS will continue tomorrow morning the session for discussion and voting about the assessment on constitutionality of the Decision of RS president on dissolving the National Assembly and announcing premature parliamentary elections. However, this session was interrupted yesterday.

SARAJEVO - The minister for refugees and displaced persons of RS Ljubisa Vladusic talked in Pale with the representatives of UNHCR about activities of this organisation on the territory of RS, and about further tasks. At the meeting from which were given very little information, was analysed the Agreement on mutual cooperation and promotion of relations, which was, in the framework of Annex 7 of the Dayton agreement and previously held international conferences about the repatriation of refugees, earlier agreed between FR Yugoslavia and RS.

ZVORNIK - In 18 centres in Podrinje for free division of shares was registered 23,750 persons. or 29% of citizens which has the right of participating. According to Zoran Lazic, the officer of the Directorate for privatisation in Zvornik, Bratunac, Srebrenica, Milici, Sekovici, Skelani and Osmaci live more than one hundred thousands of inhabitants, of which 81, 000 has the right of participating in free division of shares.

SREBRENICA - In the centre for privatisation in Srebrenica for the division of shares was enlisted 2,250 citizens, which is still in the frame of weak turnout. Daily, according to the responsible from the Centres, is enlisted 200 persons, and it is expected that until the end of this month, when expires the deadline submitting the requests, this job will, nevertheless, be successfully finished.

DOBOJ - In the region of Doboj's municipality was registered 31,102 citizens, which is 41% of total number of population with right for free shares. The secretary of the municipal secretariat for economy of Doboj Teodor Lunic precisely stated that 17,003 requests was submitted in three centres in Doboj, 2,900 in Velika Bukovica, 2,845 in Stanari, 2,712 in Podnovlje, 2,001 in Osecani, 1232 in Dragalovci and 1,150 in Trbuk.

BRCKO - The main preoccupation of the Serbian delegation on the tomorrow's session of the Provisional Electoral Commission /PEC/ will be taking into consideration the claims of citizens of Brcko, who satisfies the conditions from the Rules and provisions of OSCE for voting on the local elections. The president of the Provisional Electoral Commission Teodor Gavric announced that the session of PEC will start tomorrow at 15,00 h in Sarajevo and that the considering of the claims of 3,500 citizens of Brcko. "If the specific matters of Brcko and position of citizens who were deprived of the right for voting, although they have the proofs that they lived and worked here before the July 31, 1996 were accepted, I personally expect that their claims will be positively solved" - stressed GAvric, who will lead three members delegation of the Brcko municipality.

BRCKO - The international supervisor for the region of Brcko Robert Farrand warned in the statement for "Voice of America" that boycott of elections wouldn't be in the interest of the citizens of RS, because in that case would win the parties from the Federation B&H. While commenting the yesterday's statement of the premier of RS Gojko Klickovic that "the technical problem of issuing the personal documents to the returnees Farrand forced as technical" and that the boycott of elections could follow, the international supervisor said that for the RS authorities is "failure", allegedly, not issuing the documents to the returnees to Brcko.

AMSTERDAM - The U.S. mediator Robert Gelbard will again visit the regions of the former Yugoslavia - report the Dutch media, stating that the aim of the mission could be critic situation about the voting lists, first of all of 3,000 Serbian voters in Brcko. The sources close to OSCE in organisations which deals with implementation of the Dayton Agreement indicate that the majority of requests could be rejected, and that in that moment is necessary the presence of some authority, i.e. U.S. diplomats, who will make pressure on the Serbian side to accept that. The presumption that Carlos Westendorp, regarding the difficulty of the issue, could not successfully solve such task.

SRBINJE - The president of the Electoral Commission of RS Petko Cancar expects that the electorate in number will be approximate to the last year's general election. In the announcement forwarded to the media is stressed that soon the final voting lists of municipalities are expected, as well as from abroad. The impending, as well as any other elections, will bring changes, as in parties, so in programmes and personal, states Cancar in the announcement, and stresses that during this electoral process nobody has a right to bring in any kind of confusion in people.

BANJA LUKA - The Socialistic Party /SP/ of RS reproached to Jadranko Prlic, the minister of the Foreign Affairs of the Federation B&H and member of Council of Ministers of B&H, for the statement that "Banja Luka is strategic interest of Croats", assessing that as the territorial pretension. At the nonscheduled press conference in Banja Luka Nebojsa Radmanovic, the president of the City Board of SP, assessed that Prlic "came out of the framework of his Ministry and its competence", and that he showed that "he do not recognise the Dayton Agreement, Constitution of the community which minister he is, as well as RS and its institutions".

DOBOJ - The HQ of Nordic-Polish brigade of SFOR announced that during yesterday's control of the Special unit of MUP of RS in Doboj were not revealed any irregularities. "The unit of the Special Police in Doboj is professional indeed" - assessed the press officer of the SFOR HQ major Magnus Edwinson. At the press conference of this brigade was expressed the worry because of slow de-mining process, because the percentage of deactivated mine fields, as announced, didn't reach even 3%.

DOBOJ - The Nordic-Polish brigade of SFOR removed two check points near the base of the unit of Special police of MUP of RS in Doboj. The commander of the Doboj's unit of Special police Djordje Dujkovic stated that SFOR removed these check points after yesterday's inspection, when their representatives was convinced that Serbian police do not have forbidden weapons, arms and explosive devices.
