The session, attended by the special US envoy for the Balkans, Robert Galbard, who held separate talks with B-H Presidency chair Alija Izetbegovic earlier today, is held behind the door.SARAJEVO - The president of the Republika Srpska (RS) National Assembly Dragan Kalinic, convened the tenth session of the Assembly for Friday, June 4, to begin at 14:00hrs, while the agenda proposal and reasons for the convention of the session in shorter than defined ten day notice the Assembly President will announce at the session. SARAJEVO - The RS vice-president of the RS Government for economy and finances, Djuradj Banjac, announced that our industrial factories, in cooperation with "Volkswagen" and "Skoda", could soon start production of a new car "Felice". Vicepresident Banjac, together with the co-chairman of the Council of Ministers Boro Bosic, received in Pale German ambassador, Count von Basvik and representatives of "Volkswagen and "Skoda" for talks on revival of production in the former partner factories. "We concluded that every factory should independently make contacts with their former partners to define technical and commercial projects", Banjac explained. BANJALUKA - The current political situation in RS, is its internal affair, so it would be inconvenient for SFOR to pass any comment on it - this is the attitude of the SFOR officials stated at a press conference in Banjaluka. "Our interest, consistently with our mandate, is to ensure that the current situation does not lead to the involvement of military and paramilitary", underlined SFOR representatives. SARAJEVO - OSCE deprived the former RS president, Radovan Karadzic, from the right to vote at the municipal elections to be held this September, stated OSCE spokesman, David Foley. "The OSCE Mission chief, Robert Frowick denied Karadzic his right to vote, even though his name was found on voters lists", stated Foley. BANJALUKA - Ronald Dreyer, OSCE expert for elections in the OSCE Regional Office in Banjaluka, announced that 2.4 million voters in RS, B-H Federation and third countries - Brcko was not included - registered for the up-coming September local elections, adding that this are the most complicated elections OSCE has ever organised. TURIN - Danish foreign minister, Niels Peterson, stated for the "Republica" that a 15 billion lire financial gap for the organisation of the B-H local election required emergency measures, so he appealed 50 OSCE member countries to provide funds in order to have the local elections held in optimal conditions. DOBOJ - Doboj authorities are worried because of the Danish SFOR Battalion checking Serb passengers and their vehicles in the RS bordering communities of Makljenovac, Plane and Vila.
