Also adopted was the report of the Legislation Commission regarding the March 10 statement of the B-H Presidency in respect to competence of RS, i.e. B-H. The National Assembly passed bill on Law on Serb citizenship, by which the former Yugoslavia citizens, who want to live in RS, can acquire citizenship by December 31, this year.SARAJEVO - The president in the B-H Presidency from RS, Momcilo Krajisnik received OSCE political director, ambassador Vladimir Kusnjecov and newly- appointed deputy high representative for B-H, Boris Habirov, in separate visits. In talks with ambassador Kuznjecov a high level of agreement was reached over the work of the joint institutions of B-H, as one of the basic elements of the Dayton peace agreement. Talks with Mr Boris Habirov concerned relations between RS and Yugoslavia, regulated by the agreement on special parallel relations, which was agreed to represent a contribution to fostering of peace in the region. SARAJEVO - Regarding April 4th, the fifth anniversary of the formation of the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs and Serb Police, a solemn academy was held in Pale, with the presence of numerous guests from RS and Yugoslav political and public life. BRCKO - The Supervisor for Brcko, Robert Farrand will arrive to Brcko on Tuesday, April 8, at latest, stated OHR spokesman in Brcko, Dunkan Bulivat. The reasons for delay of Farrand's arrival to Brcko were the completion of his team and meetings with RS and Federation leaders to the end of gaining a better picture of the situation on the ground, Bulvit explained. BEOGRAD - The UN special rapporteur, Susan Manuel said 130,000 voters were registered in the Srem-Baranja District thus far, out of whom 62,000 Serbs and 68,310 Croats. BEOGRAD - The president of the Congregational National Party (SNS) Slobodan Rakitic, disapproves the option that the third meeting on Serb-Albanian relations be held without Serb representatives from Kossovo and Metohija, saying that the matter concerns the Serbian people in a whole. At a press conference in Belgrade, Rakitic accused the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), and the opposition as well, for the Serbian Resistance Movement from Kossovo and Metohija will not attend the New York talks, organised by the Institute for Ethic Relations, even as a observer. BEOGRAD - The spokesman of the Democratic Party (DS), Slobodan Vuksanovic, accused the Belgrade regime of refusing the talks on the Kossovo problem, and assessed that according to its old habit the SPS is likely to accept all demands of great powers. He said that this party would be represented by Miroljub Labus and that the other parties from the coalition "Together" would also have their representatives.
