NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA
SARAJEVO - The Government of Republika Srpska /RS/, at the session in Pale,
has done the preparations for the session of National Assembly of RS on
Jahorina, and considered the objections and amendments on drafts and
proposals of bills, which are in the assembly procedure. In question is,
between other things, draft laws on market inspection, civil security,
social security, health security for refugees and displaced persons, war
veterans, families of fallen soldiers and civilian victims of war, as well
as the motions of laws on Power supplying system /"Elekteroprivreda"/,
energetic balance and Budget.
SARAJEVO - The co-presiding of the Council of Ministers of B&H Boro Bosic
stated that at the session of the Council in Lukavica were clarified
competence of the particular ministries. Stressing the quality of the
session, Bosic stated that the Council of Ministers discussed also on Law
on customs policy and assessed that its necessary to be urgently adopted by
the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H. At the session, presided by co-presiding
Haris Silajdzic were brought the conclusions related to the diplomatic
agencies of B&H abroad, as well as being present at the conference of Non-
aligned countries in New Delhi as guest.
BRCKO - The head of the General Staff RS /VRS/ general major Pero Colic
warned that after the arriving of the supervisor and establishing the
international protectorate the destiny of Brcko depends exclusively on his
citizens. "Most important is that Brcko has remained Serbian, and on its
citizens lies the obligation to stand seriously and with responsibility on
the ramparts of the city, which is the key of the security of the whole RS",
stated Mr. Colic on the programming of the Radio Brcko.
BANJA LUKA - The Counsellor of the president of RS for the economic affairs
Rajko Tomas talked in Banja Luka with the chief of the World Bank Mission
for B&H Rorry O'Sullivan about the constituting the Central Bank and the
allocation of the aid of the international donators to RS. After the
meeting, O'Sullivan stated that, temporarily, for RS were allocated
resources for financing three out of eight projects of renewal, and that
in preparation is the realisation of another seven new programmes,
mainly in the field of industry, education, employment and forestry.
SARAJEVO - At the Sixth Session of the National Assembly of RS, which will
be held on Jahorina on April 4, it will be discussed about the Motion of
Budget and Motion of Law on conducting the budget of RS for 1997. The
delegates will consider also the Draft of re-balance for 1996, and motions
of laws on Senate of RS and inspection of work.
DOBOJ - In Stanica Rijeka, seven kilometres Eastern from Doboj, was
exchanged 36 killed soldiers of VRS and so called B&H Army. The Commission
for searching and finding the missing persons of RS extradited the bodies
of the seven Moslem soldiers killed in the region of Doboj, Modrica and
Krajina, while Moslems gave the dead remains of the 29 Serbian soldiers,
killed in September of 1995, during the fall of Vozuca and part of Ozren.
