The communique says that riot police forces are engaged in all of the towns in Serbia in order to prevent the citizens from showing their protest".

BELGRADE - The Zajedno coalition warned at the meeting held on the Republic Square in Belgrade that it will withdraw all mandates won at the local elections in the event that the Serbian authorities ignore the ONCE recommendations. While addressing some 40,000 citizens of Belgrade, the head of the Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO), Vuk Draskovic, stressed that the Zajedno coalition will return all mandates if Slobodan Milosevic refuses to recognise the electoral victory".

BELGRADE - Students of Belgrade expressed their dissatisfaction because of the annulment of the results of the second round of the local elections in Serbia, by their protest march in the pedestrian lane in the centre of Belgrade. Although they have not been announced, the former editor with the TV "Politika", Nedeljka Pavlovic, Eleonora Prohic and a group of Belgrade actors also addressed students.

BELGRADE - The Association of Film Artists of Serbia (UFUS) announced that it sharply protests because of Djordje Nikolic, the film and TV cameraman was beaten by police.
