Ozren, prevented about 30 Maglaj Muslims from visiting graves of their relatives, because they did not adhere to a agreement on way of crossing the border, reached on April 25. Muslim civilians were accompanied by Muslim and foreign journalists, who behaved aggressively and pompously, thus provoking a revolt among the Serbs culminating in a fight in which a Serb policemen was in jured, while an IPTF vehicle was damaged.DOBOJ - The Army of Republika Srpska fulfilled all its obligations pertaining to withdrawal of amrs and men to determined sites, concluded a US Inspection Agency, which, in cooperation with the OSCE, conducted works in the Doboj area. The assessment of the situation, following twoday inspection, was made by the Inspection Team chief, US colonel David Lorence, who stated that he was satisfied by the positive result. VISEGRAD - In respect to information that body of an uniden tified British IFOR soldier was found yesterday near Visegrad, the Visegrad Police announced that it is not in possession of any information about death of any of IFOR soldiers in the area. The Police says that the stay of IFOR special unit in Visegrad from May 2 to 8 went without incident, and that the IFOR Command did not report any murder of a British solder. SARAJEVO - The leader of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) in Sarajevo, Bozo Rajic confirmed that the HDZ has never supported positions on unitary Bosnia, reports Radio Deutsche Welle. The HDZ, held a tribune last night in Sarajevo, on which occasion Rajic stressed that "the Federation of B-H does not represent a federation of cantons for the Croats, but a federation of peoples". He said that "there is no mixed cantons in the Croat Muslim Federation, because one of ethnic groups in a majority in each of the cantons". BEOGRAD - The beginning of the public trial to Dusan Tadic in the Hague represents a beginning of a trial to the Serbian people, Republika Srpska and its leadership, stated the president of the Congregational National Party, Slobodan Rakitic. "This trial could be, in an indirect way, understood as an introduction into a process against Serbia and Monte Negro and other political factors offering support to the Serbian people in their struggle for national liberation and unification", stated Rakitic at a press conference. /end/ |
