DOBOJ - The Finish IFOR Battalion was disallowed to inspect
buildings of the Army of the Republic of Srpska (VRS) in the
Derventa area, for this has not been previously agreed to by
higher commands. The Finish Battalion is exclusively engineering
unit and is responsible for inspection of roads in Derventa,
which authorisations they exceeded by the attempt to inspect
military buildings.
SRBINJE - The Centre for Social Work in Srbinje announced
253 families from Serb Sarajevo arrived in the region, but they
consider the real number of refugees is far higher for all refu
gees are not registered yet with this institution.
SARAJEVO - The Muslims prevented Croat police from one more
attempt at introducing their forces into Ilidza, reports Croatian
RadioHerzeg-Bosnia. Nine policemen from Kiseljak, led by their
chief, Mladen Tol, entered ilidza wearing blue uniforms with the
signs of federal police, as was announced. "Despite of Michael
Steiner's order, we are on our way back to Kiseljak. If there is
no federal police there can be no federation of B-H , either",
stated Tol, adding that the Muslim police did not accept the
Croat policemen as partners.
SARAJEVO - Deputy minister of internal affairs of the Feder
ation of B-H, Jozo Leutar, confirmed that the Croat policemen
will enter Ilidza municipality together with IFOR and interna
tional police. According to Croatian Radio HerzegBosnia, Leutar
stated that the federal minister of internal affairs, Avdo Hebib,
forbade the Croat police entrance into Ilidza.
