In an interview for Podgorica's paper "Istok", Koljevic stressed that "keeping with the hostile behaviour towards the Serbs by the two other ethnic groups in the Former B-H could lead to a referendum in the RS and her unification with Yugoslavia". SARAJEVO - The president of the RS National Assembly, Momci lo Krajisnik, talked in Pale with representatives of Association of Families of Imprisoned and Missing Serb Soldiers. "The issue of missing and captured soldiers is the most serious issue, and the RS Assembly holds the searching for missing soldiers and their liberation as a priority task", stated Krajisnik. VIENNA - A position that the offering of any kind of aid to wardevastated areas should be conditioned upon the respecting of human rights was overwhelming at the twoday Conferences on Human Rights in the RS and the Federation of B-H. The Conference was held in camera, but diplomatic sources say that during the ses sion, representatives of the international community did not pay enough attention to the exodus of the Serbs from Sarajevo and the past Serb refugee waves from the other parts of the RS, either. BRATUNAC - The Staff for Accommodation of Residents of Serb Sarajevo in Bratunac, announced that in the past 20 days about 5,000 Serbs from Hadzici arrived in the area, adding that 470 families are adequately housed, 360 of which families are fami lies of killed soldiers. HAN PIJESAK - A large number of residents of Han Pijesak responded to an appeal of the Staff for Accommodation, offering the accommodation for Serb Sarajevans in their homes. The accom modation was provided mostly in private houses, while 127 empty flats are also reserved for residents of Serb Sarajevo. SREBRENICA - The president of the Commission for Accommoda tion in Srebrenica, Nego Jeftic, stated that since the exodus of the Serbs from Sarajevo, more than 2,500 individuals have been accommodated in Srebrenica. SRBINJE - According to data gathered from the Srbinje Centre for Social Work, 148 families with total 470 members who came from Ilidza and other Serb Sarajevo municipalities are accommo dated with their relatives, while a part of them are accommodated in the Hotel "Zelengora" in Srbinje and motels in Miljevina. DOBOJ - Residents of the Ozren community of Petrovo sent a protest with the Swede Battalion of NordicPolish IFOR Brigade because their soldiers were acting beyond their mandate, usurping several hectare of soil, and fencing the whole autolot, property of the "Transport" firm. DOBOJ - The Danish defence minister, general Lung will visit Thursday the NordicPolish IFOR Brigade in Doboj, says the Bri- gade Information Service. BANJALUKA - The Banjaluka's Office of the UN Civilian Sec tor, announced that a statement of UN spokesman in Sarajevo, Alexander Ivanko, broadcast by the Croatian TV - that "the Mus lims and Croats are forcibly moved out from Banjaluka" - is incorrect. BANJALUKA - The Association of Serb refugees from the Republic of Croatia, based in Banjaluka, sent a protest to the Croat authority in Zagreb, saying that they are tolerating the continuation of killing and burning and looting of Serb property in the occupied parts of the Republic of the Srpska Krajina (RSK). MOSTAR - A group of Muslims from the eastern part of Mostar, who previously agreed to visit their homes and a mosque in the Croat part of Mostar, were awaited with a crowd of Croat police men with pointed guns against them, reports Muslim RadioSaraje- vo. SARAJEVO - The Muslim Army commander, general Rasim Delic, stated upon his return from the U.S.A. that, Pentagon showed its readiness to help "not only equipping, but also designing the Army of the Federation of B-H". "Assuming such an obligation, the U.S.A. are fulfilling a part of their political plan, its pre sence in the Islamic world, and the maintenance of their status inside the international community", stated Delic for Muslim Radio. /end/ |
