There are special establishments in the hotels which provide tennis and basket courts, as well as golf courses. The beautiful beaches of Alikes, Argasi, Laganas, Limni Keriou and Planos are suitable for sea sports. In the larger hotels of the island, there are trainers and shops where one can rent equipment. Zakynthos is not suitable for hunting, as the laws for protecting the island's wildlife are very strict. Yet, fishing is allowed, although there is nothing worth catching. By boat, one can visit the beautiful beaches and ports of Laganas, Keri and Alikes, as well as the islets of Strofades.
