"Klydon" 24th of July AGIA MARINA The feast has been limited within the family circles. The night before, the girls bring the “silent” water and throw rings in the cup, which they remove the following day, singing funny songs.

"The feast of Agia Marina" 17th of July AGIA MARINA

"Alindia" August ALINDA Naval contest including swimming, rowing, wind-surfing, skiing, diving. The event ends with a feast with hundreds of fireworks.

"Celebration of "Queen Olga"" 26th of September LAKI The celebration in the memory of the sinking of the torbedo-destroyer. The Cultural Society “Artemis” organize music nights with local instrument players and local groups who dance wearing their traditional costumes.

"Feast of Panagia Kastrou" 15th of August PANDELI The evening before the celebration of the island’s protector-saint, people walk to the church for the ceremony, which followed by dancing and singing.

"Wine celebration" The first 10 days of August PANDELI

"Boulafendia" The first 15 days of August PLATANOS The festival is organized in honour of the cardio-surgean Boulafendis who was from Leros. The fortnight includes track-races and football matches.

"Halloween" PLATANOS The Municipality organize a carnival with the participation of all the islanders in “Kamouzeles maskarates”. Children dressed as monks go from house to house reciting funny verses written by local poets.
