Ios (or Nios as the locals call it) is decorated with small scenic bays,
countless chapels, vineyards, and olive trees, all set under the clear bright
Cycladic sky. A significant number of tourists visit each the island every
summer to enjoy the day-long, night-long parties on the beach, and in the
bars, clubs and cafes. Ios said to be also the burial place of Homer - his
supposed grave is the north of the island.
