Limnos produces pure cheese products, the best being the local "feta", the famous "salamoura" cheese and cheese made of honey. The local shops sell top quality wine and ouzo, fresh honey ad "halvah". The folk art shops have a variety of pretty woven fabrics and ceramics, as well as wood-carved objects with beautiful designs and vivid colours.
