at the International Olympic Academy in Ancient Olympia
The Olympic Center of Philosophy and Culture (OCPC) in cooperation with the University of Patras, the Towson State University and the International Olympic Academy offers a special program of the study of Greek Culture from an academic perspective. During the 3-week summer program, June 15 - July 5, 1997 the student will acquire a significant degree of knowledge of Greek culture including Greek Language and Literature, Philosophy and Art and will participate in related cultural, social and sports activities and excursions to central Greece.
Students who have successfully completed the program will receive a certificate with or without a university credit (3 hours).
The teaching faculty of this 3-week special program includes experienced faculty members from Greek and foreigh Universities. The classes of the seminar are small; essays and discussions are encouraged. The language of the course will be English.
