HELLENISTIC PHILOSOPHY, VOL.I, ATHENS 1993, pp. 216

The articles included in the present volumes on Hellenistic Philosophy represent a selection of the texts of the Papers that were submitted and presented at the Fourth International Conference on Greek Philosophy.

The texts refer to the problems or examine particular aspects of the philosophy of Stoicism, Epicureanism and Scepticism.

In particular, apart from studies which attempt to define Hellenistic philosophy, and the general climate of that age, there are others which deal with topics of moral and political philosophy, philosophy of mind, ontology and metaphysics.

Both volumes provide an as complete picture as possible of the work currently carried out in Hellenistic philosophy.
