The new Athens Metro will be equipped with facilities and vehicles to accommodate Persons with Special Needs (PSN). Statistics show that one third of the people over the age of 65 have some kind of physical disability. Moreover, Persons with Special Needs are considered to comprise 8 to 10% of the overall population.
